Exhibition of the Society's prints in Lorrach, Germany

Lorrach celebrated European Day in May 2008 by holding various events involving their twinned cities - Chester, Sens and Senigallia. Part of the event was to hold a photographic exhibition depicting these cities.

Lorrach is located in South-west Germany, close to the Swiss/French border and not far from Basle. (Accessible by cheap EasyJet flights from Liverpool!)

A collection of prints of Chester selected by John Beavan and Ray Groome as depicting the main features of the City were provided by members of Chester Photographic Society. They were mounted in photographic frames for the exhibition by Gunter Craemer, the President of the Lorrach Photographic Society.
